Skype just made my long list of tools to explore. We've used a polycom for some school events, but after seeing the SLJ article, see some real possibilities of extending the classroom to Web 2.0 - meeting authors, etc. (Probably much more affordable too!)
It seems like questions about Bandwith? Security? and Privacy? are the constant questions in emerging Web 2.0 education opportunities.
